Lily Chrywenstrom

Lily Chrywenstrom writes speculative fiction short stories and poetry. In May 2001 she founded the speculative fiction magazine Fables and Reflections, which won an Australian Science Fiction Award (Ditmar) in 2003. Her story "Tireki and the Wind" was shortlisted for an Aurealis Award in the Fantasy short story category in 2003. She attended Clarion South in 2005. Her story "The Rubbish Witch" can be found in Outcast: An Anthology of Strangers and Exiles. Originally from Perth, she now resides in Canberra. The writers she admires most are Ursula K. Le Guin, A.S. Byatt and Lucy Sussex. She has no cats or other pets.
