Tony Williams

Tony Williams is a short fiction writer and occasional poet whose work encompasses many genres. Tony has publication credits in markets such as: Borderlands; The Canberra Times and Yellow Moon; and competition awards such as: the NSW Writers? Centre Flash Fictions Competition; Banjo Paterson Writing Awards; Greater Dandenong Competition; and the ACTWriters Marjorie Graber-McInnis Award.

Tony is currently a computer programmer living in Canberra. He has also been a private in the Australian Army, a maths/science teacher, an assembly-line connector of wiring to washing machines, and a clerk in the Port Adelaide Local Law Court. His education comes from two primary schools, four high schools, but only one university. He has lived in two countries, four states and one territory. He has had three mothers and two fathers. His artist wife (just the one) says this explains much, then walks away and refuses to elaborate.

Fortunately, Tony's confusion days are now over. He has seen the guiding light (possibly from the Andromeda galaxy). This light has told him to focus on sf, fantasy and poetry - and to please start on that bloody novel.
