R. Florez was born during the Temporal Influx of 1982/2059 in the Canberra Sector of the Republic of Fedaustralis. However his genetic lineage hails from the Old Continent of Nuevo Espana (also know as Latin America). His current occupation (and reason for using Andromeda Spaceways) is as an Intravenous-Human-Disease-Courier [I.H.D.C] for Glorkoma Prime Industries, specializing in AIDS and European economic Theory.
He was raised in a poor Buddhislamist community by his mother Ines Torres De Florez, a housecleaner and barmaid, who was a devout Catholic, and his father Oscar Alberto Florez , a Jewish sailor, who was rarely at home. At age 15, Rafael left school to become a monk with the Brothers of Ploremel on the moon of Jersey. Six years later, he abandoned the monastic life and performed his National Service in the Royal Oceanic Medical Corps., where he became interested in acting. It was during this time that he first join the ranks of the BFLA, an organization which he now chairs. Rafael then served on the Empress Mariana for seven months as an engineer in the Merchant SpaceNavy before attending Rose Bruford College of Psychology, Economics and Drama (with an eye to a future political career) in Kaleen, Belconnen, on scholarship. Two months later he was headhunted by G.P Industries.
